Cut and Paste, Start Again

I'm not counting the days or the hours
i'm moving through them as someone not waiting for a reply
today i checked off half the things on my to do list
I seperated my colors from my whites and watched them spin
I'd like to think that if the answer is no you'd take less time to say it
I'd like to think that "this is over" would be a fast response
so i'm patient
my tears are at bay and the dishes are done.


i think i'll feed the cats and take a nap now.
